Miranda
Harris holds an MA in Performance from Cardiff
University. She has given recitals at venues including Exeter Cathedral,
Younger Hall in St Andrews, St Pauls Covent Garden and The House of Commons,
and played concertos at St George’s Bristol and Krakow Academy of Music in
Poland. This summer she took part in the San Daniele piano meeting in
Italy, where she performed in concerts and public master-classes, studying
with Julian Jacobson. Jenny Zaharieva and Natalia Trull. Miranda frequently
accompanies singers and instrumentalists and has played for several choirs
(The Bristol University Chamber Choir, House of Commons Choir, and at the
Festival Hall), and opera companies (Dorset Opera, Bristol University Opera,
King’s College Opera). Her interest in theatre has led to projects at RADA,
Wilton's Music Hall, and Theatre 503. In 2008, she worked as a music
assistant with the Likabhula House Children’s Choir in Malawi, for whom she
also raised money in a series of concerts, including one at Loughton
Methodist Church.
